Welcome.  I’m Carolyn Stewart, a Yoga and Mindfulness teacher based in Orkney.

How would it feel to live with self-acceptance and inner peace?

The aim of this website is to share what I offer and to invite you to share an exploration with me in a way that helps you to live your own peaceful, spacious life.

I hope to give you a sense of who I am, and what it’s like to work with me – whether that’s one to one, or as part of a class or group.

I have been practising, teaching and embodying
mindfulness and yoga for many years now and I am dedicated to sharing this with others.

What might true Mindfulness mean for you?

I can only answer that by sharing what it has meant, and continues to mean, for me, and for the hundreds of students I’ve worked with over the years.
– A sense of peace
– A deep awareness – one that brings freedom from the tangle of destructive patterns and negative thoughts
– Freedom to live an authentic life
– Deep relaxation and calm
– Joy

 

Is it an instant fix?

 

Not quite but the benefits of mindfulness and yoga can begin very early in the process, even from your decision to give yourself the gift of this dedicated time for you.
